MANIFEST. 2018 COURSE

Our experience of a month and a half in Manresa has been very positive and consoling. We brought expectations and these have not only been fulfilled but have overflowed. It has been a time of spiritual joy, of re-encountering the source of our love first and of strengthening our vocation and our mission.

The immersion in the Ignatian spirituality we have lived as an experience that begins with the softness of the Cardoner, knowing the way of proceeding of God with Ignatius from the first encounter in the room of his house. As the experience progresses, you immerse yourself and begin to like and feel as God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) communicates and seeks an encounter with you. There comes a time when you feel immensely loved, forgiven and chosen. and without hesitation, a total disposition emerges from you with courage, freedom, judgment and reason to want to live according to the way of proceeding of the Ignatian spirituality following the poor and humble Jesus Christ.

The Immersion course in Ignatian Spirituality has been a great opportunity to be able to make a stop along the way and to find ourselves with the deepest and true of ourselves, and to be able to find God there. This, in turn, impels us to purify our way of living, to make it more open to others, more supportive and, above all, to know how to thank God the Father, who is so well received.

We have been able to enjoy all of this in the company of wonderful people, in the context of a diverse and plural, rich and suggestive group, with lay people, religious men and women from different congregations and from very different places. We have been able to enjoy it and realize it in a concrete and significant place for the Ignatian family - Manresa - being able to touch and see, hear, taste and feel the waters of the Cardoner river, the majestic forms of the Montserrat mountains, the paths of light , the depth and density of the cave ... We have also enjoyed it and made it possible thanks to the precious work of the team of Jesuits and the staff of the house (services, administration, kitchen ...) that has welcomed us and accompanied us with quality and warmth extraordinary, and thanks to the accompaniment of a team of wise teachers in content and rich in life experience.

That is why we return to our different places of origin with a lighter and at the same time more passionate heart. We return with the firm desire to recognize, thank and serve God our Lord, to know him to find in all things and all things in Him, knowing that we are inhabited and accompanied by his presence in the daily life.
