Two months of renewal

PRAYER MANIFESTO OF THE GROUP OF THE RECYCLING COURSE 2019

It seemed impossible to imagine the beauty of this time that has been given to us and in which God has opened us, working and disposing us to live in his love in a thousand ways. The silence and the encounter; reflection and prayer; the welcome and the openness ... all this has helped us to tune into the music that God has wanted and wants to sing through our lives.

During the two long months of the course there has been time for everything. Time to dance and embrace, time to laugh and to heal; time to seek and to taste peace. Time to listen and to share, to renew and to contemplate, to bless and to receive the Word; time to meditate and time to learn to look with new eyes. In short: time of God, time of consolation.

A time, in addition, very well structured and combined between classes, personal spaces, outings, shared prayer and Eucharist, etc. With the added wealth of the group that we have been forming; a small inter-cultural and inter-congregational temporal community, with the presence of lay, religious, priestly charisms, etc.

For all this we end this experience deeply grateful. Grateful for shared friendship. Because it is a "friendship in the Lord" that loves us and invites us to be witnesses in the world of his Kingdom, to live the love and service wherever we are and especially in support of the most disadvantaged. Grateful because the feasibility of "another possible world" makes us believe, grow and vibrate.

Grateful and sent. Sent to take care of this world, to exercise the office of consolation among so much pain that we will find around us. Now we are as if thrown back into the reality that awaits us. Hopefully we can get involved in it with greater hope and commitment, with greater freedom and availability to fully live the vocation to which we have been called. That's why we end with this little prayer:

"We ask you, Lord, to increase and strengthen our hope, that we always trust in You, in your goodness and in your fidelity"
