The Lluís Espinal Hostel
A place for young people, families and pilgrims
The Lluís Espinal Hostel is located inside the Spirituality Center that provides spaces fully adapted to young style for schools, colleges, parishes, families, and pilgrims
It has a pedagogical and pastoral team made up of experts in these fields. The hostel accepts and offers all kinds of activities and workshops for adolescents and young people, from one morning to three days.
By means of a dynamic methodology, it is intended that young people can delve inwardly, discover the individuality of others and open themselves to the experience of interiority and transcendence. The Hostel encourages this methodology together with Jesuïtes Educació, an educational project of the Society of Jesus in Catalonia. This initiative brings together seven schools that, working in a network, aim to continuously improve the quality of our teaching in accordance to our ideals.
Our Lluís Espinal Hostel can offer you rooms for six with bunk beds and double rooms for instructors. We recomend to all groups bring their own blankets or sleeping bags and towels. Please ask quotation for accomodation to our Reception ( info@covamanresa.cat ). Thank you.
What do we do and what is our pedagogy?
We offer workshops aimed primarily at students and teachers, but also at educators, school management teams, families and the welcoming of pilgrims.
The Lluís Espinal Hostel wants to promote a pedagogy sensitive to an internal growth. A pedagogy in which, as a way of doing things, the care of interiority is present in an explicit and transversal way.
We work on interiority with a transversal approach for the entire pedagogical project of a school or of all activities in an institution. The care of interiority is not based on the fact of "doing things", but on a project that embraces how we do what we do, how we go deep with what we do. In the case of the school, we propose full integration with the educational center's project.
