We want the Cave to become an international center for the practice, research and training in Ignatian spirituality, through exercises of contemplation, interiority, silence and spirituality, aimed at both believers and non-believers, with special attention to young people
The Ignatian Way
To make it easier for pilgrims to follow in the footsteps of Saint Ignatius, we have traced the path he followed from Loyola to Manresa, following the example of the Way of Saint James.
Manresa 2022
In 2022 we will celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Cardener's enlightenment, a symbol of the spiritual experience of Saint Ignatius in Manresa, and a true foundational moment for the Jesuits and Ignatian spirituality. And we want to celebrate it with a working International Center of Spirituality and an established Ignatian Way that will bring 100,000 pilgrims to Manresa.
