Participation in the events commemorating Catalonia’s National Day

On 11 September, we took part, together with more than 60 organisations and representatives of the municipal political groups, in the institutional ceremony organised by Manresa City Council to commemorate Catalonia’s National Day (La Diada). The event was held at Onze de Setembre Square in the city, where we jointly laid a floral tribute, with representatives of the Jesuit Community and the staff of La Cova Sant Ignasi in attendance.

It was a day of celebration, but also, in light of recent events such as the death of local resident Carles Vilajosana and the Ceuta crisis, a reminder of the need to build a socially cohesive city that promotes respect and peaceful coexistence and places people at the centre, especially those who are in situations of greater vulnerability.
