March 20–21: Vigil of St. Ignatius at Montserrat and Pilgrimage to Manresa

Following the steps of the young Ignatius of Loyola 500 years ago, the Jesuits of Catalonia are organizing a night vigil at Montserrat and a pilgrimage to Manresa. This event is traditionally held around March 25, the date commemorating Ignatius of Loyola's arrival at Manresa in 1522.
This year, the event will take place from March 20 to 21. Everyone is warmly invited to participate!
Friday, March 20
- 7:30 PM Departure by bus from the Palau Real
(Av. Diagonal/J.M. Keynes St., Barcelona) - 9:00 PM Arrival at Montserrat and dinner
- 10:00 PM Vigil
Saturday, March 21
- 1:00 AM Night rest
- 8:00 AM Wake up and breakfast
- 9:00 AM Start walking towards Manresa
- 4:00 PM Arrival in Manresa
- 5:00 PM Prayer in the Cave
- 6:00 PM Return to Barcelona (via Renfe, FGC, Monbus... at participants’ expense)
What to bring:
- Dinner, breakfast, and lunch; sports shoes or hiking boots
Costs:
- 35€: Bus to Montserrat, accommodation, and snack
- 30€: Bus to Montserrat and accommodation
- 25€: Bus to Montserrat and snack
- 15€: Vigil
- 5€: Snack at the Cave of Saint Ignatius
