Global Prayer Eve

Dear friends and colleagues:

After the intense experience of the Pentecost Eve, the Ignatian family is again organizing a Global Prayer Vigil, in this case under the umbrella of the Secretariat of Social Justice and Ecology, as part of the Season of Creation. The Congo Basin, the Amazon and the Asian forests are the lungs of our world.  They struggle to breathe. Today they are literally and figuratively on fire. That's why we are inviting you to participate and promote our Global Prayer Vigil to pray for ecological conversion and action for justice. The vigil will feature testimonies, reflections of the people and communities directly affected combined with symbolic and interactive moments.

The vigil will take place on September 25 at 8.00 pm in three different time zones (Manila, Rome, New York) and will be broadcasted live through the Jesuit Global Youtube channel in Spanish and English.
