Review of those attending the 11th Ignatian Immersion

"We ended up excited, grateful, amazed by a vital experience that has surpassed all possible expectations. Feeling the experience of deep consolation, with joy, tranquility, with abundant lights. Feeling that we are stepping on sacred ground here in Manresa. Feeling the deep need for gratitude , to God, to life, to others.
Gratitude for so much well received. The rereading in an emotional-spiritual key is beautiful. New clarity in many things, of faith and spirit. Feeling of freedom and liberation. Deep gratitude felt for many aspects: personally for the personal growth, for the group dynamics, for the proximity of God himself as if it were a long experience of the Exercises.
It was thought that the course was to start something, but you discover that we have not started, but that it is from leaving here that we are going to really start with the course, to develop everything in the new life that we have received. Really looking forward to going out into the world, invited to a new lifestyle, strengthened and eager to bear fruit. Good expectations for the future, with a certain fragility in the face of the knots that are foreseen in the future. Returning to normal life, we return with hope, with a new attitude and convinced that it is God who works. Everything comes from His Essence. We want to create more “green spaces” in our lives.
Consoling experience in the Ignatian style: feeling like children loved in the Spirit. It has helped to face the wounds and reconcile them as much as possible. Accept reality with the “Take it Lord”. Very good experience to confirm our life. It is a provocative course that helps you discern the present moment and focus on the future. Confident in the conduct of these weeks, comfortable in the dynamics of the 6 weeks, invited to let ourselves do in order to be. The methodology of transmitting the lessons (classes and pilgrimages) were very well focused from our humanity, very contextualized in our reality. Motivating us to question and inviting us to change, to awaken and open our consciousness. Pay attention to discernment, prayer, accompaniment, examination... all the Ignatian instruments that have marked us in these days. A spiral experience to go up from day to day. Perfect chronology and methodology. Each block introduces the other, as if they were doors that cross towards the next ones.
Mary as an open dimension of the human. The need to connect with our feminine sensitivity. Mary in her “letting herself be done.” Mary on the pilgrimage of Ignatius.
Pilgrimage as a lifestyle. Pilgrimage like walking and letting yourself be done. Pilgrimage with the introductory prayer, orienting yourself to the Lord. Pilgrimage with Jesus, poor and humble. Pilgrimage as a mission in life. Immersion is not a course that remains intellectual, but rather works on the emotions and even the body, through pilgrimages and contact with nature. We are not simple visitors, who do not let ourselves be challenged by the environment, but we have immersed ourselves in Manresa and Ignacio, in ourselves and in the Presence of
God.
The path traveled has been dense, intense, full of clarity and momentum. Tired, with great spirit. Tired, but not tiring. Walking is the metaphor of the course. A path that flows, a path that is done without rushing. It has meant entering into an inner work dynamic that frees and opens the shell, to be able to move forward. You arrive with the stress of life and soon give way to the guide of experience who guides you with flexibility and relaxes vital tensions. You soon let yourself do it and with that everything comes easily. You feel yourself starting over with Christ, once again.
Be grateful for acquiring Ignacio's model as a new-old paradigm from which we can still draw a lot of life, a lot of fruit, a lot of leadership.
Very enriching liturgies. EE very new and interesting. "God brought us here to reveal himself to us."
