Lluís Magriñà sj funeral homily

Last Saturday, January 14, 2023, in the Basilica of Santa María del Mar in Barcelona, ​ took place the funeral for our colleague and superior of La Cova from 2015 to May 2022, Lluís Magriñá sj. The homily was given by Fr. David Guindulain sj, current superior of the Sanctuary of The Cave:

"(...) In recent years, being Lluís Magriñà the Provincial of the Jesuits in Catalonia and Superior of The Cave, I have been able to share many more things with him. Breakfasts, pressures, decisions, illnesses, Eucharists... A part of me goes close to God with Lluís. A part of each one of us goes close to God with Lluís. For this reason, with the audacity that you taught us and taking advantage of the privileged position in which you find yourself, today, I ask you and I believe that I am not alone in doing it... Lluís, may God give us his vision of the world, of life, of what is happening! That we share his dream about this world so in need of light, in that mosaic of the Sanctuary that we love so much where Saint Ignatius and Jesus share the same vision."
