Recess for university students

Last Friday, November 22, a well-nourished group of alumni went to Manresa to share a few days of prayer and discover what we have been called, what we are looking for and what we can offer in this society. The participants in the break were from the 2015 promotion, to the youngest, 2019.

It has been a very special day, shared in a house that has a lot of meaning for the vast majority of us. Manresa is not only special because it is an essential place in our spirituality but also because throughout our school life, Manresa has been a symbol of deep religious experiences and fondants for all of us with the retreats organized by the school.

This recess has been possible thanks to the generosity of Nubar Hamparzoumian SJ, a Jesuit who in the youngest promotions of the school has marked us for his deep and simple faith and for his ease of approaching and transmitting his experience of Christ in The current context.

All of us agree that it has been a unique and unforgettable experience and a true gift of having the opportunity to have two days to reflect, pray and be able to reimburse our lives with the eyes of God. We all get stronger in our commitment to want to be Christians committed to our circumstances and in our environments. Thanks to the Alumni Association, to organize this type of experience that not only strengthens the bonds of friendship between those who go but also helps us not to forget that we have to be men and women for others. And as St. Ignatius said: "in school we enter to learn, we go out to serve." Already waiting for the next call.
