The stay of Saint Ignatius in Manresa, the spiritual experience he went through there and the relevance this had in his autobiography and in the history of the Society of Jesus have made of Manresa and of the Cave a place of interest to many visitors. The Cave of Saint Ignatius has a number of services to welcome all these visitors whether they come on a pilgrimage or they wish to visit the historical, cultural and artistic heritage of the Cave.


Museum and audiovisual presentation

A twelve minute long audiovisual shows an introduction to the life of Saint Ignatius and the Jesuit message. The museum has three galleries containing XVII century paintings on the life of Saint Ignatius, the earliest reproductions of the Spiritual Exercises and a facsimile of his nobleman sword.

Sundays and Church Holidays: From 10 to 11:30

Tuesday to Saturday: From 10 to 13 and from 16 to 19 hours [in the winter from 15 to 18 hours]

Monday and public holidays: Closed

Prices:

Full visit: 2 euros

Groups: 60 euros/ coach.


Accommodation

Pilgrims can be accommodated in the Centre of Spirituality in a single or double room with a bath or in rooms with berths. The spiritual assistance of a Jesuit priest is available for pilgrims and visitors on request.
